Welcome to the new resource Hub for the Uniting Church in Queensland.

Thank you for all that you contribute to the mission and ministry of the Church, as we share in the wider life of the community. The Hub is designed to enable and equip you in your ministry and administration. It contains policy, guidance and forms for everything from Safe Church, Property, Finance, Insurance, to Environment, Mission and meetings of the Synod. It also contains a Planner to let you know the tasks you need to complete on a monthly and quarterly basis.

I commend the Hub to you and encourage you to contact the Hub team if there are resources you need but can’t locate.

The Hub is a library of documents to assist ministry agents, office bearers, volunteers and staff of Uniting Church congregations, faith communities, presbyteries and agencies. The Hub contains policies, procedures, practices, forms, guidelines and other related documents. It’s organised into a series of resource areas such as Ministry, Payroll, Finance, Safe Church, Property and so on.

The Hub is maintained by the Office of the Synod.

There are two simple ways to navigate the Hub and find the resources you need.

• Hit the search icon (top left), type in the name of the document you need (e.g. “Annual Return” or “Mandatory Reporting Process”) and select the correct document from the search results
• Use the left menu to navigate into different sections of the Hub, browsing for the content you require. Hover over each menu option to see a selection of sub-sections
  • Resources: A wide-ranging library of documents including safety, finance, property, HR, payroll, insurance
  • Church Life: A library of resources related to mission, social justice, Plenty, Congress, and so on
  • Synod: A library of documents related to Synod meetings, and the work of the Synod Standing Committee and its sub-committees
• Within each area are a number of tabs to help you quickly navigate to the documents you need

If your search doesn’t bear fruit, contact the Hub team for assistance with finding the documents you need. If the document you need isn’t yet uploaded to the Hub, we’ll help find a copy for you. Frequently sought documents will be added to the Hub on a regular basis.
